Curated by Johann Kneihs, Jewish Weekends presents a broad spectrum of Jewish culture beyond stereotypes over two weekends in June (June 7–9 and 14–16). Music tells of Jewish life, past and present. Austrian premieres by international ensembles meet programmes created especially for the festival by local artists, with a musical range spanning from Jewish Renaissance and Baroque music to classical music, singer/songwriter, jazz and avant-garde. Introductory talks complete the programme. The main event venue is the Former Synagogue St. Pölten. The concert on the evening of 8 June will be held in cooperation with and at the Bühne im Hof. The film screening on 14 June is due to take place at the Festspielhaus St. Pölten in cooperation with TangenteSt. Pölten.
Tickets are available in the webshop and at the ticket counter of the Former Synagogue St. Pölten.
